Another qualification to celebrate at TLC. Care Worker Ashiq Rubel has completed the Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification.
Level 2 is the recognised foundation qualification for care workers in Wales. It covers the essentials of good care at home: putting the person at the centre of everything, safeguarding, health and safety, clear communication, and supporting people to live well and stay independent. Completing it means building up a portfolio of evidence from real work, on top of a busy rota, and that takes dedication.
What we value most is that this isn't learning that stays on paper. Everything in Level 2 shows up on every visit, in how our carers listen, how they respect people's choices, and how they spot when something isn't quite right. Ashiq now has the qualification to back up that everyday practice.
Investing in our team's development is one of the things we care about most at TLC. Level 2 is a strong first step, and we'll be right behind Ashiq for whatever comes next.
