Peace of Mind and Exceptional Care at Chaseley House

My mother has been living at Chaseley House for three years.
Mum has complex medical needs and so, as a family, we spent several months checking local care homes, once it was deemed necessary for her to receive 24 hour care. We were delighted when a place became available at Chaseley House. The home has all the necessary staff and equipment to deal with these needs.
Mum has an en-suite room with furniture and ornaments from her own home which helped her settle in quickly which was a great relief for me as her daughter. The food is varied and nutritious (a menu is posted on the wall in the entrance hallway). Although there have been times when mum has fancied something else to eat at the last minute and this has always been accommodated. The staff are all lovely and highly professional and nothing is too much trouble; be it popping in to see mum for a chat or delivering coffee and biscuits!
As a family, we find that the open door policy at Chaseley works really well as it means we are able to visit mum, or take her out, to fit in around family members who work, in turn, this means she can have plenty of visitors. Mum is invited to make use of the daily programme of entertainment; regular hairdresser; chiropodist visits; Swiper the therapy dog, etc.
I think my mum has her own recommendation for Chaseley. I often ask her if she’s happy and her response is always ‘the staff are lovely and I’ve never had a bad meal!’ This makes me feel very happy.
